And, our job placement rate for graduates is over 80 percent. HBI’s model is based on Five Steps of Service – connecting, assessing, training, certifying and placing students in careers in the building industry. Our focus is on building careers and changing lives. You can go to hbi.org to find out more.

What is PACT?

The PACT curriculum is one of only three U.S. Department of Labor-recognized pre-apprenticeship curricula. HBI’s PACT program in Jacksonville is designed to serve transitioning military members within 180 days, veterans, spouses, and children over 18 years of age with parents who have served or are currently serving. Students gain vocational and academic skills to secure meaningful careers across many different sectors of the building industry, giving businesses a competitive edge when hiring new workers.

Why Choose PACT?

Training programs do more than just provide job skills; they build character and self-esteem, providing students with the interpersonal skills they need to succeed on the job and in life. This gives graduates a solid foundation for becoming valuable members of their communities and responsible citizens. The program uniquely supports students at every stage of the employment continuum—successfully connecting, assessing, training, certifying, and placing students in high-growth building industry careers.
